4-16-2010 Charity Golf Tournament at the Crossings in Carlsbad to Support the Cherubs Foundation!

I had the pleasure of meeting personally with Cyndi Kostylo recently to learn more about her charity: Cherubs Foundation International.   She and her son Nick Stadlberger are passionately involved in their Charity, which is of a very worthy cause.  Cherubs Foundation International (www.cherubsfoundation.com) is a nonprofit organization aimed at providing the children at Cherubs Orphanage in Kumasi, Ghana with basic necessities of everyday life.   Established in the winter of 2008, the US sector has helped to buy food, provide electricity, deliver hepatitis B vaccinations, and set up pen pals with US elementary school classes.   Each of the 45 children at Cherubs has benefited greatly from their past efforts, and now they are seeking your help for their biggest project yet.

Due to inadequate funding, Nicholas Bonsu, the owner and founder of the orphanage, is not able to renew his lease on the Cherubs building this year.   He is currently looking for a piece of land that is suitable for a new home; however, construction is not possible unless enough money is raised.   Cherubs Foundation International is devoted to helping these children so that in addition to their own hardships they do not become homeless.

So how can you get involved to help Cherubs?  They are having a Chairty golf tournament here in Carlsbad on Friday April 16th, 2010 at The Crossings at Carlsbad golf course.   If you haven’t had the opportunity to play this course, you should; it was rated one of the top 10 new courses by Golf Magazine.   The day will consist of a foursome best ball scramble, followed by a silent auction and an evening of food, live music, and dancing.   Your support will help change lives, and it will be an opportunity to meet others and have a great time!   The prizes are fantastic!  One lucky golfer is guaranteed a trip for 2 to Cabo San Lucas or Puerto Vallarta!   The Hole-in-One Prize will be an unbelievable $100,000!    There will also be prizes for Men’s Longest Drive, Women’s Longest Drive, and Closest to the Pin, as well as raffles, giveaways and free beer and soda on the course!

They really need your support and generosity to help make this event a success.   There are multiple ways you can participate even if you can’t make the tournament.   You or your company can sponsor certain holes or participate through different advertising opportunities.   To learn more visit them at www.cherubsfoundation.com.

Your contributions will go a long way for the people who so desperately need them.    Cherubs Foundation looks forward to seeing you at the tournament!
